Built in 1800 by Abergavenny’s best known builder for himself Fairlea is a fascinating example of the Gothic Revival style. Rooms are large and light and though very comfortable have an imposing quality to them with plenty of ornate panelling, lovely tiles, stunning carved fireplaces, stained glass windows and an ornate dramatic hall running up to the second floor. It’s a little different to your average home, but don’t you want something different when you’re on holiday?
